This First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Level 1 course is a comprehensive practical program that equips learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills to confidently respond to medical emergencies both at work and in the community.
Course module:
– Introduction to first aid – Understand the role of first aiders and assess emergency situations.
– Patient assessment – conduct primary and secondary research.
– CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) – Performs CPR on adults, children, and infants according to AHA guidelines.
– AED (Automated External Defibrillator) – safe operation and maintenance.
– Airway and respiratory emergencies – treat choking and difficulty breathing.
– Bleeding and Wound Care – Control bleeding and effectively cover wounds.
– Burns and Fractures – Initial management of burns, fractures, and soft tissue injuries.
– Overview of medical emergencies – Recognize strokes, seizures, diabetes, allergic reactions.
– Scene Safety and Communication – Coordinate with emergency services and surrounding people.
